when every disagreement says I care
and we'll come to terms with it
realizing how much so
when lives are in the balance
somewhere between chance
and meant to be
forging legacies together
part 1 of our journey towards a lifetime
if only foresight was 20/20
and we could perfect clarity in a year
calibrating dreams and vision
till reality bears some semblance to
a more beautiful way to breathe
it took 12 years to come full circle
and find someone I never knew I knew
